Payment terms

Payment no later than 15 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. For certain customers, advance payment may be required.

Late payment
In the event of non-payment, the invoice will be transferred to our external debt collection agency Amili, which handles both payment reminders and debt collection claims. A reminder fee of SEK 60 will be charged for payment reminders. If the matter proceeds to debt collection, a collection fee of SEK 180 will be charged. Once the invoice has been transferred to Amili, payment must be made directly to them in accordance with their instructions.

Scandivet trades in SEK and, in the case of purchases from countries other than Sweden, the customer is responsible for any currency exchange fees.

Delivery terms

Free shipping within Sweden for orders over 1,300 SEK. For orders placed on working days before 14:00, goods in stock are dispatched the same day. Delivery is made to the specified delivery location. If the customer is not available or is otherwise unable to receive the ordered delivery, an additional fee may be charged depending on the carrier’s tariff. For shipments abroad, prices are provided on request. For orders with a value below SEK 500, an environmental fee of SEK 100 will be added.
For products not kept in stock (“special order items”), delivery times vary, and a provisional delivery date can be provided upon contact with Scandivet.

Scandivet uses PostNord as carrier and primarily ships using the “Företagspaket” (Business Parcel) service. The customer must be able to receive and sign for the goods at the specified delivery address.
Requests for delivery without signature (delivery without receipt) must be notified to Scandivet when placing the order. The customer may also request that the shipment be delivered to a PostNord service point for collection; this must likewise be notified to Scandivet when placing the order.

From the time the goods leave Scandivet until they are signed for by the customer, PostNord’s current terms and conditions for goods handling apply. Any special requests or specific instructions regarding delivery (for example, specific time windows, unloading points, or requirements for additional equipment) must be approved by Scandivet before delivery. Any additional costs arising as a result of such instructions will be charged to the customer.
For deliveries outside Sweden, shipping costs are charged to the customer.

Backorders

Items that are temporarily out of stock will be back-ordered and do not need to be reordered. They will be sent freight-free as soon as the item reaches Scandivet’s warehouse.

Returns

Incorrectly ordered stock items may be returned subject to a fee corresponding to freight and handling costs. For returns from countries other than Sweden additional costs may apply. Incorrectly ordered refrigerated items or sterile packaged items are not returnable, even if the packaging is unopened. A written return request must be received by Scandivet no later than five (5) days from the delivery date. No goods may be returned before approval from Scandivet has been obtained. Returns that are not approved for any reason will not be credited.

Return of special order items

”Special order items” referes to goods that are not regularly kept in stock by Scandivet but are ordered in or produced specifically according to the customer’s order.
As a general rule, special order items are not returnable. In the event of an incorrect order on the part of the customer, Scandivet may, at its own discretion and with explicit written approval, in exceptional cases allow returns of special order items under the following conditions:

  1. The customer must submit a written return request no later than five (5) days from the delivery date.
  2. The item must be unused, in its unopened original packaging, and in fully resalable condition.
  3. Incorrectly ordered refrigerated items or sterile packaged items are not returnable, even if the packaging is unopened.
  4. The customer is responsible for all costs and all risk related to the return shipment, including freight, insurance, and any damage or loss during transport.
  5. Scandivet is entitled to charge a return and handling fee of thirty (30) percent of the invoiced amount for the item in question, plus a handling fee of SEK 300.
  6. Return is only accepted to the extent that Scandivet’s supplier accepts the return of the corresponding item on terms that Scandivet deems reasonable.

Scandivet reserves the right to refuse returns of special order items without obligation to state the reason.

Claims (complaints)

Visible damage must be reported immediately to Scandivet’s customer support at +46 (0)171-857 70 (selection key 1). In the event of damage that is not visible upon receipt, a claim must be made to Scandivet’s customer support within 5 working days after receipt of the shipment. Missing goods must be reported to Scandivet’s customer support within 5 working days.
Customer support will send the customer a return shipping label. The customer shall enclose a copy of the delivery note with the returned goods. The return must be packed in outer packaging (carton) in such a way that the product’s original packaging is not damaged. Please do not write on the original packaging.
The customer will be credited for the cost of the item once the returned goods have been received and registered by Scandivet AB. Scandivet only grants full compensation (credit) for the return of defective and incorrectly delivered items.
The form for return/complaint can be found here.

Transport damage = carrier’s responsibility

All damage occurring during transport must be claimed directly against the carrier. If, upon receipt, you discover that the delivery is damaged in transport, either on the product or on the packaging, you must immediately, on site, notify the carrier by noting the damage on the consignment note before signing for the delivery.
If you have received the goods under an authorization for delivery without signature, you should report the transport damage directly to the carrier by contacting them. Please note that the notification/parcel number must be stated in claims to the carrier.

Contact details for our carrier regarding transport damage:

It is you as the customer who lodge the claim for transport damage directly with PostNord. If you have received the shipment via UPS or DHL, please contact our customer service. If damage has occurred, you must not use the product. It is also important that you retain the packaging so that the damage can be inspected during handling of the damage case. Other questions to our carriers can be answered by their own customer service.
